Aki esta una pekeña Biografia de mi AJ solo ke en ENGLISH! OK Alexander James McLean was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on the 9th January 1978. Born under the star sign Capricorn he had anything but a harmonious childhood. His parents marriage fell apart early and little Alexander reacted to the divorce with defiance and fury. In the search for acknowledgement and security he realised that it was great fun to be the centre of attention.
And so a career as a child model began for the boy with the high-spirited and twinkling eyes. During one of these appearances he was discovered by a director, who gave him a part in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves'. Even in the unlikely role of the dwarf Dopey he was able to impress the right people and further engagements soon followed.
After school A.J. went to a dance studio where he practised dance and ballet for two hours every day. Through this training the lively teenager took part in numerous classical pieces. In 1990 the McLean family settled in Orlando where A.J. attended a private acting school, worked part-time as a model or took on offers of smaller roles.
Two years later the dark-haired teenager entered the Latin Carnival talent competition. The only pre-condition was Latin American ancestry, which, just like Howie, he had. Not only did A.J. win the competition he was also befriended by Howie. From then on the two of them went together to auditions. At one of these auditions they got to know Nick and the foundation-stone for the Backstreet Boys was laid.
A.J. describes himself as freaky, funky and romantic. His hobbies are billiards, basketball, the movies, writing poetry and he has a fondness of sunglasses.
Every band needs someone like A.J., who can get a little wild, who loves to party, who likes to get a little out on the edge at times. He's the one who pushes and tweaks the others a bit. Bone, as he is nicknamed, is the man. A.J. is also the one of the Boys who's expressed any interest in getting tattoos or piercings. And even among five cool guys, A.J. is definitely the coolest, always changing his hair color or length, and wearing his trademark sunglasses; he's really got it all goin' on.
He's the guy who'd be likely to take a date out to MCDonals's ( which he jokingly refers to as Mack Daddy's ) for dinner on a date. It's not because he's cheap, but because he wants to be able to show the real A.J., not to go all out to try and impress and be someone He's not. What's really attracts A.J. is eyes. He really doesn't care about physical type, but the eyes are important.
